TESTIMONIALS
"Gaffney-Livingstone Consultation brought the latest thinking in relationship dynamics and behavior change to Health Dialog's health coach training and product development. Not just theorists, their training materials are now an important part of Health Dialog's coaching practice, and their insights are key to our product development guidelines. Gaffney-Livingstone's creative and highly collaborative approach was ideal for our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment." William Brennan, Senior Vice President, Health Dialog Services Corporation, Inc., USA; Health Dialog, UK. www.healthdialog.com, Former Executive Producer, WGBH, Boston.
"In times of tragedy, people find themselves doing things they never thought possible. The tsunami that struck several Asian nations in December 2004 left scores of children orphaned and traumatized. Gaffney-Livingstone Consultation helped Cerner Corporation's First Hand Foundation develop a public health trauma treatment program and a training program for large numbers of indigenous clinicians in India who now carry on the work of emotional rehabilitation of the victims. Gaffney-Livingstone's innovative strategies of communication and interpersonal dynamics in health care have been instrumental in helping us extend treatment programs to survivors in several coastal communities." Roy L. Simpson, RN, C, FNAP, FAAN, Senior Vice President Medical Informatics, Cerner Corporation, Kansas City, Missouri. www.cerner.com
"My opportunity to work very closely with John Livingstone and Joanne Gaffney arose during a corporate effort to enhance the health coaching model at Health Dialog so that health coaches had greater impact when working with member-patients to promote healthy behavior. This work required a comprehensive understanding of the baseline coaching model and working environment. It also invited a creative approach to what could be tempered by the business realities of our operations. Finally, without a deep understanding of the relevant scientific evidence and a willing application of scientific techniques to test the effectiveness of our new interventions, their work would have had little credibility with senior management.
Without qualification, Gaffney-Livingstone Consultation identified and overcame these challenges in the work they did. Their work was thorough, insightful and delivered on time. Their interactions with senior management were extremely professional while their engagement with health coaches was almost immediate and certainly enduring. They are expert in what they do and a real pleasure to work with. Their contributions to our health coaching model have been very significant, benefiting the members, health coaches, and the organization." Richard R. Wexler, M.D., Director, Patient Support Strategies, Foundation for Informed Medical Decision Making. www.fimdm.org
